Happiness

I can't find a better definition of "Happiness" than what is written in the beside picture. Each word, Each line is true."The more you chase it,the more it will elude you". Huh! Now no one has to be a genius to understand the meaning because it happens in everyone's life. We try everything to find,to have happiness in our life.Work 24X7, from dawn to nightfall to have happiness in our lives. But most of our efforts fail most of the time. We become hopeless. Life seems colorless.Well this is reality. And reality sucks (some should put that one a t-shirt).



Our parents send us to school in an age when we don't even understand what world is. Why? So that we can be their followers in the endless chase of finding happiness. And we do what they have been doing all their lives. But never asked ourselves if this ''chase'' worth everything? Ever? I can guess the answer. Most will say no.We love be in this chase & make ourselves unhappy for be in it. Unhappy for being in the chase of finding happiness.What a life! Because this chase will never end because Happiness is not a destination.It's a journey.

This journey never ends.It starts when we are born and ends when we die & we,well some of us (Lucky Ones) find it along the way of life.But I believe we can find it if we stop chasing.Yeah,me,the lonely,victim of unhappiness.I believe this.We can find it around us if we stop running after it & look around us.We can find even in the environment of serene morning,sun rising,take a alone walk,a ride home,raindrops falling on your hand ,a message from a friend,listening to an old song,an encouragement,sky free of clouds,high wind.Well I find happiness in these even I been through a lot unhappiness.I try.Because I have to for being alive.We can't live forever being unhappy.We all deserve happiness in life.So we have to find it for our own sake.

Being happy doesn't means that everything have to be perfect.But being happy means you,deciding looking beyond imperfection.Happiness is a choice.We all have to choose to be happy.Happiness isn't getting what you want,it's wanting you got.There are lot reasons to be unhappy,but we have to be happy because makes us feel alive.So I say to myself stop chasing after this golden deer.Stop struggling,keep living.Then one day happiness will come at our foot, for sure.
